Office for Learning and Teaching Extension Grants

Office for Learning and Teaching extension grants are due in just under 1 month, on 21 August 2015.

Funding of up to $30,000 is available for learning and teaching projects that build on completed projects and fellowships, to increase their impact at institutions outside of the original project.

The OLT grant instructions state that:
“Extension grants are specifically intended to achieve the following objectives:
• develop and/or implement effective mechanisms for the identification, development, dissemination and embedding of good individual and institutional practice, including addressing particular contextual barriers to taking on the good practice identified
• raise the profile of the fundamental importance of teaching in higher education institutions and in the general community.”

All grant applications must go through an internal process of review and be endorsed by Deakin’s DVC(E) before submission to the OLT. If you are interested in applying it is essential to contact a member of the Teaching Awards and Grants (TAG) Team, for a copy of the official application form and to be endorsed:

We look forward to hearing from you!

Lise and Susan
The TAG Team.
