Pilot: Student blogging service

This project aims to pilot a WordPress Blogging Service for additional units in Trimester 1, 2016, after some units in Tri 3, 2015. The purpose of the project is to identify and map the processes requires to setup, deliver, and maintain a WordPress Blogging Service for Teaching and Learning.

The eSolutions Learning Tactical Project team is responsible for the design and implementation of a pilot blogging solution based on the business requirements contributed by Faculty of Arts & Education and Faculty of Business & Law. DLF is the business owner of the service and is responsible for management, support, and user training.

New DeakinAir

The DeakinAir platform is currently being updated (still based on Kaltura software), and has a lot of added functionality.

This new version of DeakinAir allows for a lot more interactivity between CloudDeakin unit sites and the DeakinAir interface. When you upload a DeakinAir video to CloudDeakin you will be able to access basic editing functions, change publishing status, create subclips and share your videos in unit Media Gallery’s, all from within the CloudDeakin environment. TeachAssist has create a suite of resources to assist you to become more familiar with the New DeakinAir.
